Which uses more math computer engineering or computer science?

Which uses more math, computer engineering or computer science?

Which uses more math computer engineering or computer science?
Engineering...........

Computer engineering is in the Electrical engineering department. To get this degree you have to take all of the calc and DE required for an engineering degree........... Just to get to the CE math classes.

Computer engineering is a discipline that combines elements of both electrical engineering and computer science. Computer engineers are electrical engineers that have additional training in the areas of software design and hardware-software integration. In turn, they focus less on power electronics and physics. Computer engineers are involved in many aspects of computing, from the design of individual microprocessors, personal computers, and supercomputers, to circuit design.

Reply:Both have very little bit math
Reply:If you just take them literally, a computer science curriculum should have more math than computer engineering. But that could also be misleading, since just because a class is not from the math department doesn't mean that it doesn't use a lot of math (one of the most math intensive classes I've had was an electrical engineering class). So you can't always tell just by looking at a list of classes how math intensive they might be, you really need to look at the full description.

It can also depend on the university. A computer science curriculum at one university may have more math classes than the same curriculum taught at a different university. One university may focus their curriculum on theory (i.e. math) where another may decide to be more hands on (focusing on more actual programming).
