Is a Master Degree in Computer Science with an AA in Business Administration enough?

I am about to get a Master's degree in Computer Science, but I would like to land more of a project lead/project manager position (more admin, more $$$, less coding). Is a 5+ years experience coding, a MS in CS enough? Should I get an AA in Business Administration as well?

It has been my experience that companies looking for Project Managers really look for experience as a Project Manager. I am not sure it would be necessary for you to get an AA in Business Administration in addition to your MS. I would recommend becoming a certified Project Manager or try to get some experience managing projects.

I have a degree both in Accounting and Information Systems and have been stuck coding for a while. Even though I have an Accounting background individuals still want to see what experience I have leading entire projects. So it seems the Business Administration part really does not help get you into project management. I believe experience is key.

Hope this helps.
Reply:A degree just give you head start, but after the degree experience is what you will really need to help you advance.
