What Can I do with computers if I major in MIS and Minor in Computer Science??

I really want to do something with computers when I get into college. I'm really inerested in networking but I think that majoring in Management Information Systems and Minoring in Computer science would be a bit easier for me, because the BA in Computer Science has too much Math. What jobs can I get with that type of degree?

Almost anything you want!!!

I have three college degrees, none of them are in Computer Science and I work as a Senior Systems Engineer for GM! My path to Networking took me through teaching, working at Microsoft, getting MSCE/MCSA and other certifications, and setting up school networks.

My point is I make get $$$ working in computer networking, and my degrees are not even in MIS or CS. If I can do this, then you can graduate ahead of where I was out of college, and be even more successful!
Reply:depends on the college/ curriculum... major title dont meant anything

ur probly look at a IT job but it really depends on how in dept ur mojor takes u into the field
Reply:These days, a degree in computer science has absolutely no value at all. There are very few jobs in the US for CS grads. All of those jobs are done in India these days. There are a few networking jobs, but you'll be competing with about 500,000 unemployed IT people all trying to get the same jobs.
