What is the difference between computer science and computer systems engineering in collage?

whats your idea on both?

i am actually studying engineering and its my first year, i dont know whether to drop out or to continue, i dont know what the hell i am doing exactly ,i have an average good enough to study medicine, but since i am stupid enough i had to study engineering .

what do you think? i am lost!

What is the difference between computer science and computer systems engineering in collage?
Computer Science is the study of how computers actually work, from their 0's and 1's all the way to the interaction of components and programming.

Systems Engineering is the study of how to completely computerize an operation, like a WalMart or Home Depot. It uses computers to optimize all aspects of a business.

By the way, engineering is not a stupid profession. It's very difficult at times, but well worth the effort in the end. Without engineering, we wouldn't have anywhere to live or work, nor would we have over half the things that we use on an everyday basis.

Just hang in there and make it to at least 1st qtr junior year before you decide to quit or change majors.
Reply:Science is the use of something, Engineering is the design/ creation of it. If you can quit thinking of yourself as stupid and see the clues in your paragraph that I see, you'll study both the PC engineering AND medicine and go on to create medically useful machines. I wish you good luck at this. We need good, accurate machines in that field.
