What is a good place/the best way to study for a computer science competition?

I am currently a high school senior with about half a year of programming experience in Java. I am planning to write some competitions like dwite or ccc. What would be a good place to study for the competitions? And what would be the best way to study for them?

the library....
Reply:umm go to the library?
Reply:if you live nearby to a university with a computer science department, i highly recommend going there and asking one of the professors or researchers to help you/teach you something. That's what my friend's brother did and he won some sort of scholarship competition.
Reply:according to me the best way would be to study alone in a place where there will be no disturbance.or study infront of ur comp.if you like,,,after studying you can try the ything you have studied on comp.
Reply:At home in your spare time. Make sure you get involved in some communities and check out a lot of the cool open source out there.
