I love computers and am wondering what to study for when I hit college.
Which is a more superior field of study, Computer engineering or computer science?
Both Computer Science (study of software development) and Engineering (study of hardware development) depend on each other (you need software for users to interact with the computer and you need the computer to store the software). Can't really see a superior field of study between the two.
You should decide what you really prefer to study. If you want to learn a lot about programming and making softwares, then take Computer Science. If you want to learn how to make hardware and circuits for the computer, then take Computer Engineering.
