What jobs can i get if i major computer science?

Im kind of undecided on what i want to major in in college and im already a junior in high school. Can you guys inform me on jobs i can look for after i graduate. i just want "fun" job with something to do with computers. i was thinking about business but i dont want to be stuck in a office and have meetings becase i suck in literature/reading

A Business Systems Administrator (still stuck in an office), Business Systems Analyst, Data Systems Manager, Computer Programmer, etc. Unless you are a Computer Technician (which usually makes less money), You stand no lesser chance of being in an office than you do with a Business Degree. It is what you make of it, and what job you accept that matters





I received a Liberal Arts Degree (for my Bachelors), and worked my way up from a Production Supervisor to a Business Systems Analyst (improving Computer Systems), to an Artificial Intelligence Consultant traveling the Country. When you're good - you'll still be good regardless of the degree, as long as you can prove your worth.

Reply:If you really want to have fun, you must first earn it. You need to do things most people (like you) don't want to do because it requires efforts.





However, if you can make you to concentrate and not afraid of hard work, your success in what you do will automatically raise you above many many others and that guarantee good jobs and less work and good money.





Always remember, big maney require little on the job work, and non-stop hard work (labor) makes minimum wages.

Reply:hi, I was going to major in computer science, but decided against it. My bfs mom is a computer programmer and studied computer science and the people she works with, are all losing their jobs as their jobs are getting offshored to India, etc. She worked at CSC...she as a result had to find a new job. She has not received a pay raise in over 6 years...the computer science type jobs are all getting offshored to foreign countries...I would advise you to stay clear of computer science..I changed my major to business and minor to computer, as a result...I can get a good job having a technological background in computers...but please...avoid computer science.
